The Scouts selected Camp Hi-Sierra this year for their summer camp Adventure. Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and surrounded on all sides by stunning National Forest, it is easy to see why. This camp is set in a historical logging camp, with a fully themed frontier town providing the Scouts to become fully emersed in the rich history of the setting.
23 Scouts, and 5 Leaders from Troop 51 attended the 7 days and 6 nights of summer camp this year. In addition to earning Merit Badges and having a generral While they were there the Scouts cleared and stacked wood for fuel for a total of 25 service hours.
