Mountain Man Rendezvous

Located in Boulder Creek at the Chesebrough Scout Reservation, Mountain Man Rendezvous was a three day, two-night adventure for the Scouts of Troop 51 to catch a glimpse into the world of a 1800’s trapper rendezvous.

While there, 13 Scouts and 5 Adult Leaders participated in crafting flint and steel, packing a mule, black powder shooting, tomahawk throwing, pan ring (a scout favorite), making fry bread, blacksmithing, turning butter. Our Scoutmaster, Justin Moya, and two scouts even got top places in the Mountain Man Rendezvous Run.
